Last month, I got a new role - being a mother. While I am sleep deprived and running on a lot of caffeine, I’m incredibly grateful to be a mother. My son is 5 weeks old and I have been able to witness a tremendous amount of growth in such a short time. I know he will continue to grow more physically and mentally each day. I’ve been inspired by his growth and started this blog during my year-long parental leave (I live in Canada where I am so fortunate to have a generous leave). l want to continue to sharpen and strengthen my programming knowledge and coding skills by writing weekly blogs on my learnings and reflections on all things related to Javascript, React, Rails, and web security.
